eDiceRoller ("we", "us", "our") operates the ediceroller.com website. This Privacy Policy describes the information collected when you use the site, the purposes for which it is processed, and the choices available to you.
The site does not require an account and does not request personal information. Dice rolls are generated and calculated in your browser; results are not collected, stored, or transmitted. Information is otherwise collected only as described in the sections below.
Dice type, dice count, sound, theme and any active dice notation are stored locally in your browser using localStorage. A short history of your recent rolls — the notation used, the dice results, the total, and the time of the roll — is stored the same way, capped at the most recent fifty entries.
None of this data is transmitted to us or to anyone else; it is written and read only by the page running on your device. The roll history can be erased at any time using the Clear history button on the roll history page, and clearing your browser data removes both the history and your preferences.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure aggregate site usage. It records the page requested, the referring site, and general details about your browser, device type, and country. It does not use cookies or other client-side identifiers. IP addresses are processed in transit to derive country and are not retained.
We do not set cookies. Cookies and similar identifiers present on the site are placed by the third-party providers described below and may be managed or removed through your browser settings. Where applicable law requires consent, non-essential identifiers are set only after that consent is given, and the choice may be revisited at any time.
The site is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites. Ads may be served on a personalized or non-personalized basis; in either case, identifiers are used for purposes including frequency capping, measurement, and fraud prevention.
